Privacy at VA Claims Knowledge Base

VA Claims Knowledge Base does not require an account and does not ask you to submit claim records, medical information, or identifying information.

What our private traffic counter records

We use a first-party traffic counter to understand which pages and resources people use. It records the page visited, the referring website's domain, and clicks on resource links, videos, filters, and topic bundles. It does not use Google Analytics or another analytics company.

What it does not record

The traffic counter does not store IP addresses, cookies, names, account identifiers, browser fingerprints, typed searches, medical terms, or claim information. Daily event records remain on the VA Claims Knowledge Base server and are automatically removed after 400 days.

When you open another website

When you open a resource on RateMyVSO, YouTube, VA.gov, or another website, that destination's privacy practices apply. VA Claims Knowledge Base does not receive your password or login information from those services.

Do not send claim information

Do not send personal claim or medical information to this website. There is no claim-submission or document-upload feature.
